Day trip from Zagreb to Slovenia starts when our guide picks you up at your accommodation. After a 2 hour drive, you will arrive at Postojna cave – the most diverse cave system in the world. A visit to the cave is fully organized. The visit includes a train ride to the heart of the Cave and a 5 km of wonderful subterranean world. A part of the sightseeing is done on foot, with ups and downs so be ready for a light physical activity.
Next is Bled Lake. Lake Bled is a natural oasis just 55 km from the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. The Lake is 2 km long and a bit 1.3 km wide. In the center of the Lake there is a Bled island which you will visit by using a traditional boat called Pletna. After a short coffee break on the shore of the Lake you will visit the old Bled castle with a mesmerizing view of the area.
On the way back to Zagreb, you will visit Ljubljana, the beautiful Slovenian capital. First mentioned as Emona, in the 12th century, the city has a long and rich history.

Ljubljana – First mentioned as Emona, in the 12th century, the city has a long and rich history. Located in the heart of the country it is the cultural, economic, political and administrative center of Slovenia. Several earthquakes made the city a mixture of architectural styles. You will walk on the Ljubljanica river bank, visit Prešern square, The Old city… The most interesting thing in Ljubljana are the numerous bridges with imaginative stories and legends.
Lake Bled – As we said earlier the Lake is 2 km long and a bit 1.3 km wide. In the center of the Lake there is a Bled island which you will visit by using a traditional boat called Pletna. At the island there is a church dedicated to Assumption of Mary with 99 baroque steps leading to its entrance. Traditionally it is considered good luck for the groom to carry his bride up the steps on the day of their wedding before ringing the bell and making a wish inside the church. After a short coffee break on the shore of the Lake you will visit the old Bled castle with a mesmerizing view of the area.
Postojna cave is one one of the most visited caves in the world. It was also the first cave with electricity inside and also the first one that had a train tracks and a train that tool the visitors inside. As we said it’s 5 km long and the visitors route inside takes aproximately 1 and a half hours to see. Walking through numorous different galleries wows each visitor. It is also a home to proteus, human fish or how many like to call it: baby dragon.
