Wine tasting and Zagorje wine trip from Zagreb

Bodren winery is a symbol for quality wines. The vineyards are located in Zagorje – the region of ecological attributes. Mr. Drenški gave life again to the noble, hedonistic tradition. Micro-climate conditions and Mr. Drenški’s knowledge guarantee the lightness of the wines, making them fresh. Six golden, five silver and three bronze medals from London Decanter World Wine Awards are just a part of the award-winning story. The wine tasting will be led by Mr. Drenški himself.

The wine-making tradition on the Vinski vrh dates back to the Roman times and continued through the Middle Ages. Today, Vinski vrh Winery is a modern winery that strongly moves into the Croatian wine scene. The winery is proven by the fact that the vine is grown naturally and applies ecological methods to preserve quality and naturalness. With many international awards for their wines, this winery is one of the best wineries in Zagorje county.

Vuglec Breg tourist village and winery – with their catering and dinner, Vuglec Breg turned to wine making. It has over 16 000 vine plants. Also, they are well known for their sparkling wines produced in classical sparkling wine method. We will visit the wine cellar and taste the award-winning wines.
